Martin has continually supported Micah as a trustee since its inception with his wife Margaret until her death in 2011. In December 2013 Martin and Beryl married. They both worship at Holderness Community Church, in Sproatley on the east coast of Yorkshire. From their home in Aldbrough they run a Community/Charity Shop, where they reach out into the local community. The shop is open Wednesdays and Saturdays, with various activities on other days, such as a Slimming Club and a Knit & Natter Group. Many events are also held in the shop for villagers and the Church. They are also full time carers for Margaret's father, who came to faith in 2014 and now also attends HCCMartin took over the position of Co-Leader of HCC from Keith when Micah was formed. With Beryl's help, Martin Co-Pastors HCC and is the Leader of the Music Group in which he plays the drums. He leads a weekly Home Group and works full time as a lorry driver. He has been a Christian since 1999. Beryl worked as part of the team from HCC doing outreach and giving out Bibles in Burton Pidsea, an east coast village, under the umbrella of Micah. She also worked until early 2014 as Administrator, also responsible for fund raising, for 'Restoration House Ministries', a Christian charity which reaches out to people with addictions. She was a founder member of Holderness Community Church when it started in 1981, having recently come to faith at an Outreach Meeting hosted by its founders David and Meg Croft. Beryl also sings as part of the Music Group.
